The Black Hoe Music Group is a consortium of independent netlabels set up in 2006 promoting jungle, drum n' bass, breakcore and other subgenres of electronic music produced by up and coming artists worldwide. While the mother-label (known as Black Hoe) offers free singles, ep's and lp's in 320 kbps quality format, the other imprints' (Black Hoe Alimony, Golden Age and Project:V8) releases have only been available for purchase at... digital music stores, until now... At the end of 2010 the Black Hoe HQ decided to offer their finest on vinyls exclusively.
Stuffs coming out on Alimony and Golden Age will be released on vinyl strictly limited and exclusively. As many vinyls (promo and full release as well) are pressed as many orders arrive. It means higher prices but very rare wax!
The next release on Golden Age breaks with tradition: there are no soothing melodies, smooth structures or etheral atmoshepres. We've got two mutilated breakbeat freaks that hark back to the good old vibes of labels like Biotic or Audio Couture.
Indidjinous - Dead Ringer
A sluggish and archaic half-time intro sequence quickly emerges from the muck and mutates into a rabid, amen-infused breakbeat beast. The high-energy, warping bassline will wreak havok on the dancefloor and test the strength of any subwoofer.
Indidjinous - Mating Call
Indidjinous' signature didjeridu atmospherics cascade around poppy breakbeats and shuffling, reversed hi-hats in the ominous 'Mating Call'. Thundering 808 bass spars with an alternating alien bass synth. Haunting sci-fi vocal samples contribute to the other-worldly vibes of this breaked-out heavyweight.
